What roads does Altitude AADT cover, and why is not every road included?
AADT estimates cover Motorway through Tertiary road classes where observed data meets confidence thresholds; segments below that threshold are excluded.
AADT estimates are available for road segments across the United States, covering functional road classes from Motorway through Tertiary where sufficient observed data supports modeling.
Altitude uses a confidence-gated delivery model: Altitude excludes segments below quality thresholds rather than reporting them with low confidence. The absence of an estimate is itself information: it tells the planner that Altitude does not have enough observed data to produce a defensible estimate for that segment. This approach prioritizes accuracy over coverage breadth.
